Last season West Ham did the double over Palace and I can tell you that Palace have only won 1 of the last 6 Prem games against the Hammers, losing 4.
The problem West Ham have so far this season though is the same as Burnley had last season. They cannot win away from home and have lost 3 and drawn 2 of their 5 on the road so far.
Palace though cannot keep a clean sheet and have let 1 in each game this term. Another problem is that 3 of their 4 strikers are out injured so they rely heavily on Zaha.
I took West Ham’s win over Spurs in the cup in midweek with a pinch of salt. It counts for nothing but, the win by Palace over Chelsea, on Zaha’s return from injury, was well earned and if they can play like that again, they have enough to win this or get a draw, at least.
The draw does look the best bet again and I do see both sides scoring.
DRAW @ 23/10
1-1 @ 11/2
ZAHA TO SCORE ANYTIME @ 2/1
WATFORD V STOKE
Stoke have won the last 3 of these meetings and have also won 5 of their last games away to Watford. They have only lost 1 of those 7 games, too.
But the table doesn’t lie and Stoke are poor so far this season, while Watford are flying along.
Watford also have goals everywhere in the side and only Man City have as many individual goalscorers as Watford, 10 different players hitting the back of the net.
Whilst they score goals, they also let them in, too. They only have 1 clean sheet at home this season so I can see some goals being scored.
Diouf was the silver lining last weekend when he scored his goal and if he does the same again today he’ll be the first ever Stoke player to score in 4 Prem games on the bounce.
Watford have a player in Doucore who you don’t let shoot on target. He has had 4 on target and all 4 have gone in but Watford will want to see Crouchie on the bench and staying there because he has 3 against them in just 2 Prem starts against Watford.
I am a big fan of Richarlison and if you were looking for a cheap midfielder in Fantasy Football, he’s your man. The only midfielders to have run up more points than him in the game are the 4 at Man City, Salah at Liverpool and Eriksen at Spurs.
They will twig him eventually but until they do he’s one you’d bet to score at some point today.
It’s going to be a much better game than that other I have looked at.
HOME WIN @ 21/20
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE @ 4/5
RICHARLISON TO SCORE ANYTIME @ 2/1
The prices are on Betfair but best to look around.
