He is well known as a trainer of PTP horses but has now moved over and if the performance of his first runner is anything to go by, he’s going to tear up some trees.
He saddled SMART BOY, his first hurdler to take to the track, to win by 30 lengths and today he has his first steeplechaser taking to the track.
Post Racing subscribed members were told this morning that BALLYKNOCK CLOUD, who runs in the Southwell 3-10pm, simply has to be OF INTEREST, if only because he’s sent this one horse on a 400+ mile round trip from Crewkerne (where Harry Fry trains his), and that he’s got Harry’s man, Noel Fehily on board to do the steering.
Currently around the 4/1 mark, this horse is well worth watching in the market.
If you follow racing closely you’ll already know of Jack Barber. He is the trainer of ASK THE WEATHERMAN, a winner of nine of his 10 PTP’s to date, runner up in the other.
Have a great day!
