It’s not an angle I’m going to take 100% to heart just yet as I want to see how this pans out but right now, it’s “hot”.
CLIFFS OF MOHER is such a horse running in the Derby today and I’ve had a little straight win punt at 6 on Betfair.
I recently pointed out the records of the James Tate juveniles when ridden by Martin Harley and today they team up with a horse called DAFFRAH in the Doncaster 2-30pm. What makes her even more interesting to me is that she’s by DAWN APPROACH, the first season sire I mentioned a month or so back, that I was most interested in following this term. How good she is we’ll only know after the event but for sure, my eyes will be glued to her.
It’s not rocket science working out that CAMELOT will most likely be the top first season sire and, indeed, before one of his has raced this year, Coolmore has increased his stud fee by £10,000….they are obviously very impressed with what they’ve seen so far.
Right now that’s a pair to consider punting, the juvenile very much a 20/80.
