CHESTER

3-00 – BOODLES DIAMOND HANDICAP (Class 2)(4yo+) Winner £18,675 12 runners 5f15y Good ITV4

PERCEIVED DRAW BIAS: L-M-H

* – BALLESTEROS….+10
§* – SIR MAXIMILIAN….+9
* – BLITHE SPIRIT….+9
§* – EL ASTRONAUTE….+9
§ – REFLECTOR….+9
* – POWERALLIED….+8
CONFESSIONAL….-12
* – MAJESTIC HERO….-14
T§* – SPRING LOADED….-20
* – SEAMSTER….-25
BOSSIPOP….-36
T§ – TAEXALI….-40

NOTES: Can BLITHE SPIRIT overcome that naff draw and boost the fantastic stats she has here….3-13 ground, 6-35 trip and 5-13 track….she loves the place but a high draw over five furlongs here is a nail in the lid. My top rated has it even worse and so, despite it being a Class 2, i expect the top rated stats Gary is keeping to drop a point on this micro-system.

I’m going to be working with rated horses 2, 4 and 5, looking to get a profit from the race utilising their rating/icon/draw….my own solo play will be SIR MAXIMILIAN but with just a single point in it, I’ll not be at all surprised if EL ASTRONAUTE lands first!

5-05 – ADARIS GLOBAL FOREIGN EXCHANGE HANDICAP (Class 4) (4yo+) Winner £7,470 14 runners 7f1y Good RUK

PERCEIVED DRAW BIAS: M-L-H

§* – GABRIAL THE TIGER….+13

§ – SIR BILLY WRIGHT….-29
T – FAST DANCER….-31
T§ – SKEAPING….-39
ZAPPER CASS….-40
MULLIGATAWNY….-40

NOTES; Over the slightly longer trips middle do have the potential to claw back those low drawn runners that go off like stink, in an attempt to make full use of a prize box to break from. Those low drawn will be looking for oxygen off the home turn and my top two rated will be stalking them.

I believe the winner is in my top pair and will work with them. GABRIAL THE TIGER has stats that would have BLITHE SPIRIT envious (3-10 ground, 5-14 trip and 3-9 track), and GIN IN THE INN is simply in brilliant form right now.

DARK DEFENDER for tricast/trifecta purposes, if I feel it’s worth getting involved….most likely not.
