Dan now has to provide Harry with three more winners between now and the weekend to get him to 100 for the season and this afternoon they head off to Sedgefield:
It is probably significant Harry rides here and not Cheltenham, where Dan saddles four.
I’m still very much monitoring juvenile races on the flat but one I’ll be keeping a close eye on is ABU DHABI DOO in the Beverley 2-50.
Karl Burke does superbly well with the 2-y-o’s here (runs PROGRESSIVE JAZZ in the opener), but it’s the one in the 2-50pm race I will take special note of.
He has booked Jordan Vaughan to ride and he’s got a decent record from a small number of rides in the last five years (2-8) and the only other time Karl Burke booked him, they produced a winner.
Not a play by any means but I want to make sure I’m going down the right roads before we start betting in anger.
Good luck with that Skelton pair!
