I didn’t really pay much attention to what was going on at any of the meetings but it was interesting that the two horses marked up T* produced an 8/1 winner. I do believe we have cottoned on to something here and once we have digested a few things I’m sure we can reduce on the number of bets struck to produce the profit we saw off the top rated horse and, indeed, those in the top three rated.
Gary has put his stats up for you to look at to week end 29/03/15….-40 too is interesting.
Had an e-mail yesterday from a member going racing at Huntingdon this afternoon. I’ve looked at that entire card to see if anything looks a bet but the problem I would have right now is they experienced between 3-4mm of rain overnight and expect showers this afternoon. The rated races there have seen the numbers produced on the understanding it’s good to soft. If it is worse than that then for sure I’d simply stick a pin in the race card.
The first race is a nine runner affair but only four have a realistic chance of winning it. I’d be inclined to take a chance on the first time headgear working with GABRIELLA ROSE.
It could, of course, simply be a “McCoy-fest” as he’s on board three of the first four favourites and they do hold realistic chances.
I have rated the second there and he’s on board my top rated, FLASH CRASH. Yet to win over obstacles they have added equipment to help the horse concentrate on the job and if it works, he’ll most likely win.
ULTIMATUM DU ROY looks the winner of that four runner jobby at 3-15, and the 3-50 is really impossible to fathom as we have so many handicap debutantes lining up. Nothing rates higher than -26 and McCoy is again on board that favourite.
The 4-20 is a five runner event in which two compete from out of the handicap and the favourite is only favourite based on hurdle form. If you forced me to pick one out of that lot it would be a very, very small bet BOB WILL but for sure, it’s monopoly money betting only.
The last race on the card is a maiden hurdle which is interesting only because Lady Cecil trains the favourite! This kind of race is simply down to guesswork and in all honesty, your guess would be every bit as good as my own
This is the last day of NH figures for the season 2014-2015 with the obvious exception of Aintree, which is best profiled anyway.
Tomorrow we have just NH racing at Wincanton and Towcester and my advice genuinely is to sit back, take a breath and get you bank ready for the new flat season about to start.
Between now and the end of April I will be providing you with information regarding 20 horses I believe will make us a few bob through the summer plus, a few juveniles I also hope will prove money spinners.
I already know of one that is trained in North Yorkshire considered very decent and as soon as it has been named, I’ll let you have those details.
On Monday, May 4th I will commence a new service.
I have been promising for a while now to have www.tippedtolose.co.uk up and running and on that day it will be up and live.
The last year has been me getting back to something like full health and many of the things I wanted to do simply couldn’t be done because for the majority of my day I resembled a maraca, so many tablets were going down my neck. I believe I also seriously underestimated exactly what had happened to me!
As the dose was lowered I have had wobbly moments, that’s for sure but now I’m down to eight from what seemed a million at one point. Gone from weekly to monthly bloods and my main concern now is shifting this weight that has built up because of the steroids….that should be a laugh!
By the end of April, I will be down to just three and trust me, that’s a milestone!
Anyway, tippedtolose….I know a few of you are seriously looking forward to working with this, especially after the performance demonstrated in the year before the legs disappeared!
I was going to have it as part of the Post Racing site but I’m now thinking it has to be wholly separate. It will be its own entity. If laying horses is your thing, I believe you’ll enjoy this.
I will, each day, be using my figures to provide you with bad favourites we can look to get stuck into. I make more profit from laying horses than I do betting them and have for a fair few years now used my numbers for this purpose. I’m hoping to beat that figure of 36 (I think it was), consecutive favourites laid and beaten, over the course of a season.
