You should see my inboxes right now. Not just e-mail but that on Facebook, too. The number of requests I receive for Cheltenham advice is unreal. I’m flattered that people trust to my opinion as much as they do but my response to all will be to please make a donation via the website, for the Cheltenham Special, so that I can get that Sensory Garden built!
I’ll promise each and every one of those that have e-mailed that I will then do my very best to make the layers cover both that donation and create a profit.
Very happy with my punting yesterday. No monster staking involved but I was absolutely delighted with this one:
T* – CALL THE COPS….+12 – WON 3/1
* – WALTZ DARLING….+8 – 2ND 8/1
T* – SELDOM INN….-17
T* – AL CO….-17
H – CANTLOW….-20
T – BATAVIR….-26
MY PLAY – Top pair for a dutch, a 20/80 my top one and an exotic.
We have a horse sitting top rated, bearing those T* icons and we know they can be trusted. A nice top rated winner, the CSF and Exacta both paying out @ 22/1 and the bad favourite bottom rated and finishing plus last @ 6/4.
Douglas Julien @ 12/1 was a nice winner for me 25 minutes later and I was satisfied with what came back.
I have Rated seven races for this afternoon but all are small fields and uncompetitive affairs.
We have no horses indicated T* and only three horses taking part in those rated races have actually travelled to do so.
Again it’s low staking stuff, if it’s worth involvement at all. I have added text to those races I am interested in working with myself.
At noon I’ll be glued to the box watching the Liverpool/City game. After that I’ll be putting a piece together for the Cheltenham Files that will go out tomorrow. That will be the case daily this week and I will be doing two things at some point.
The traditional e.w. accumulator will go out and, the name of the one horse I hope will pay for the entire Festival.
If you e-mail me over the next two weeks a response may be slow in coming as I really am head down on this now and even Karen was asking last night when she’ll see me again after today!
