In preparation I have created a “stand alone” 500 Clubsection on the website.
When I first started Post Racing the intention was to create those five Clubs both here and Ireland. I wanted them in situ by the end of 2014 but for well documented reasons that stalled.
Instead of rattling along and building on what had been an amazing 2013, we hit the buffers and had to simply let that year finish, regroup and then, this year, crack on again.
I think our getting involved with Harry Fry proves our intentions but we have to build on this and the only way we’ll do this is to get the name of Post Racing out there and increase our membership numbers.
If you are reading this as a Site Member who enjoys going racing then for sure, I would look seriously at upgrading.
I will be getting my wish list out to you but it will be next week now as we have hit the weekend in what seems like double quick time.
With Chepstow abandoned a couple of days ago, we have just Musselburgh to work with. Three rated races but again, I’m not betting myself. I’m happy to sit and watch when the going goes gluey and as with one race in particular yesterday, the Wincanton 2-05pm saw an 11 year old, out and out 3 miler, win over 2 miles 4 furlongs. Proven heavy ground horses at the trip were legless,
No, I am patient when it comes to betting and as I keep saying, I’ll miss the odd winner (did yesterday), but will save on the losers.
Sean and I will be discussing the weekends racing, tackling a few issues that get our backs up, announcing this weeks Podcast competition winner and posing you a new question.
The answer to last weeks question was:
If you sent in that as your answer then listen in to see if you have won this weeks free £10 bet.
This weeks questions relates to something that happened 25 year ago, this year.
