The stats for those horses top rated and carrying the T* icons are producing superb results and if you have been looking for a way to work with my figures, this would, right now, appear to be the best option.
Since November 1st (to 04/01/15) the figures read:
Top Rated *&T symbols = 11/38 to profit +69.93pts Betfair SP, +64.71pts after 5% deduction
Yesterday we had just one, Blackwater King…it won. If we can get one trained by McCain to go in, we really must be onto something!
Last week saw three of the five qualifiers run home in second place, one beaten inches @ 15/2.
I’m still going through Irish Bumper form this season but do have two names I am very interested in right now. Hopefully I’ll have it down to one later on and be able to post up the name in the Cheltenham Files section.
It’s a quiet day of racing with just four rated races to work with.
This will give me time to sit and create the Newsletter that will explain what we need to get done this year.
Kerry, our competition winner, had a £10 bet placed on Unioniste and became the second successive winner to get a draw from that bet….£45 via PayPal …and that’s £195 in prize money snaffled off Ladbrokes and given back to our members.
Fancy a free £10 bet this weekend?
This weeks question is:
Name the race!
Her ex-husband was placed in it
Her son was placed in it
She won it twice.
Do you know the race in question? If so, please send your answer to firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday to have your name in the draw.
You will need to listen in to the Podcast on Friday in order to collect your prize, if you are lucky enough to be drawn out. That is the only place we announce our winner and you will need to e-mail us once you hear your name called out!

Soft ALL RACES WILL BE RUN ON THE TRADITIONAL COURSES (GoingStick: Chase: 5.4, Hurdle: 6.3 on Sunday at 08:00)
Forecast: Monday – Cloudy with the odd sunny spell, temperatures remaining above freezing. Tuesday – Early morning showers (3/4mm) clear away to leave a dry afternoon with sunny spells.
* – indicates winner on ground at the time of rating the race
H – Indicates wearing some form of headgear for first time today
* – BOURNE….+6
T – SAINT JOHN HENRY….-13
HE’S THE DADDY….-24
T – HEATHFIELD….-35
MY PLAY – Yet again BOURNE tops my numbers. He’s the only runner having a win on this ground amongst this lot and whilst he’s on a two year losing run he did look like he can still win a race three days ago. If the legs have got over that run, he’ll have sa good chance here….if he fancies it.
I’ll just have a 20/80.
* – ALLERTON….+11
H – LORD LANDEN….+8
FINDING YOUR FEET….-4
* – BIG CASINO….-8
T* – JACKIES SOLITAIRE….-10
* – DASHING GEROGE….-15
ULTIMATUM DU ROY….-26
T – FINAL ASSAULT….-37
MY PLAY – This “feels” like a decent little race and i’ll go with rated horses 1, 5 & 6 to a dutch. The 20/80 goes the way of ALLERTON, who trades around 9.2 win, 2.8 place and sort out the exotics.
T* – IZZINI….+3
* – LUCKY LANDING….-3
T – KALIMANTAN….-4
* – JUST CAMERON….-5
UN GUET APENS….-16
MY PLAY – My top rated boasts the following:
2-2 ON THE GROUND
3-4 AT THE TRIP
3-3 AT SEDGEFIELD
The only thing I can do is go straight win.
The tissue favourite is KALIMANTAN and whilst he’s travelled 279 miles to run here he’s yet to win on this ground.
T* – MASTER RAJEEM….+7
* – BALTIC PATHFINDER….-2
* – BASFORD BEN….-6
T* – BLACKWELL SYNERGY….-12
T* – RINGA BAY….-15
MY PLAY – I’ll just run up a 20/80 MASTER RAJEEM. If he wins I’ll curse he wasn’t top rated to make those stats look even nicer!
Best of luck if you get involved.
