I was finishing the installation of Yosemite on my Mac this morning before finalising my figures and this took around an hour. During that time it was two cups of coffee and a read of the notes I made in preparation for this coming NH season.
It reminded me very much that NH racing is genuinely what it is all about for me. I’ve ideas for a long shot in the Gold Cup, I’m thinking next years Champion Hurdle should be an absolute doozie and I simply cannot wait for it all to start.
I want our 500 Club members to go racing as owners during the NH season and I have one or two ideas that I’ll mull over in the next 24 hours. Several trainers have options for us and I’ll be pursuing them.
I also had an idea yesterday that had Karen falling off her perch. She thinks I’m quite mad some of the time (the medication?), but right now we have several organisations looking to work with us and they will hopefully, between them, be looking to introduce us to a very, very large number of people. This will be done on an affiliate basis and will hopefully mean an opportunity to increase hugely on our membership database. This will in turn mean we can do much more for you and provide much more by way of your packages…..both 500 Club and Site Member.
The right thing to do, as far as I am concerned is to offer those members here now, something that shows just how grateful I certainly am, that you have supported Post Racing as we have set out on the road to do what we want to get done.
As you know, we borrow nothing to do anything. All the horses that have been purchased, leased, that have seen our members in the winners enclosure more than 10 times from around 40 runs, the website facilities, the charitable donations that have been made, the good work that has been done in other areas, etc etc etc….done and been able to be done, because of you subscribing to something in its infancy.
That has not been lost on me.
From tomorrow I can get back to work properly and between then and Friday you will be advised of what I want to do for you.
Today’s racing from Ffos Las does not inspire punting confidence and only six of the horses taking part in the three rated races have previous winning form on the going as currently described. In the first of them, not one has done so.
If you are betting, you’ll quite possibly need the luck of Beelzebub.
