A poor day at the office yesterday and we just have to take those on the chin. We’ll win some, we’ll lose some.
I have had a requested for figures for those races being run at Beverley today that have 3-y-o’s in them. No problem, they’ll be sent out once completed. I hope they work for you, Vince.
I was asked if the number of 3-y-o’s running in these all aged handicaps has started earlier than usual this season and to be honest I have no idea! It has certainly meant a shortage of races for me to work with right now.
What generally happens, and as was mentioned to me by Mark Johnston many years ago is, after Glorious Goodwood they are, in his words, considered “fair game”. He has most definitely started getting after them earlier and has been successful, too. I have rated several of those races after the event to see how they would have come out and we would have not got near them.
If you intend using those Beverley figures, please bear that in mind.
We have plenty of racing today but the vast majority is for watching and making notes, which I will be doing. If anything is worth adding to trackers, I will get it posted up on the website asap.

The last of these is probably the best opportunity of using the figures to take a profit from the race. my top rated would appear to have the lot spot on. We have a couple of 3-y-0’s in here though, one from the same yard as my top rated and I’ve been “Midglied” in the past! His PRINCESS MYLA is also well drawn and who knows whether or not she’s still open to improvement?
Have a great day and the very best of luck
