See what happens when it’s not Windsor or Leicester races! One day I’ll get a handle on Windsor….as will jockeys other than Richard Hughes and Ryan Moore but the simple fact right now is, you only need to be punting those guys if you want to back a winner at Windsor. You will end up losing money that way too but, at least you will back a winner once in a while.
Tomorrow you will be using the all new Newsletter. You will see that we have been listening to everyone’s comments and hopefully it suits everyone…which, of course, it won’t….but we are trying! Feedback will be vital in making what you receive the best available and so we would ask that you let us know what you like, what you don’t like and what, if anything, is missing.
We have created a new inbox for this and a link will be contained within the Newsletter to that e-mail address.

INGOT OF GOLD….-23
ADVICE – Yesterday I could have “cheated” the numbers and made FLEDGED top rated in that 6-35 race last night and those using just the top rated would have been another step closer to that 200 points profit, instead of another point away from it. I do not work like that though and until a horse achieves a mark, it hasn’t. I opted not to punt the race because a) I hate punting odds on shots and b) I knew what was going to happen….and it did. This is a “like” race. I know in my waters the three year olds will prove superior to the older horses and that the most likely winner sits below my top two rated. If my top rated wins this then everyone playing those horses will go whistling by that 200 point mark….but do not go holding your breathe….nobody I know has ever looked good blue! A no bet race for me.
*BONDI BEACH BOY….+13
THREE TO DUTCH – MERCERS ROW, WILD SAUCE, COCKTAIL CHARLIE
20/80 – WILD SAUCE
EXOTICS – MERCERS ROW, WILD SAUCE, COCKTAIL CHARLIE
LAY – NONE
PERCEIVED DRAW BIAS – Low preferred to middle, high require snookers.
ADVICE – The best race of the day and it all hinges on BONDI BEACH BOY, who has done Post Racing members proud. We latched on to him very early but as with all handicappers, the weight they give him will eventually stop him. Most of his winning has been done in Class 6 and whilst he won in this grade last time up, it was skin of teeth stuff. Had he been drawn 1-5 I’d have been going in again but he’s going to have to work a wee bit harder to get the lead today, which seems vital to him. If he does, I’m probably a loser, if he doesn’t, then hopefully one of the three I have opted to work with will come good. I’ve selected WILD SAUCE over MERCERS ROW for my 20/80 because the only jockey to get a win out of the latter is Danny Tudhope. Gemma Tutty is worth her claim but she is not a Tudhope yet and so young Justin Newman is carrying my shekels.
ADVICE – A decent enough prize on offer and I’ve one miles clear so it’s going to be a 20/80 that one, with a top three dutch to pay for that and any exotics I opt for.
ADVICE – Not keen on this race. WELLINGROVE smacks of another COPPERWOOD and I again feel a three year old will pop along to spoil the party. I’ll sit this one out.
ADVICE – Just one in here having won on genuine good ground in the past and it’s another I myself will sit out…best of luck to those working with the top rated!
