The Foibles of Golf….AT&T update

So here we are after day 1.

All my team relatively safely on the carpet and remember the cut comes in round 3 this week so, perhaps a little change of emphasis in your second tier betting

There are not many betting rationales that allow readjustment to cover for potential losses but certainly Golf is one of them and sometimes there is a little chink in the armour of Monsieur Le Bookie

My main man this week Dustin Johnson didn’t exactly cover himself in glory first week back and suitably refreshed moved supremely from a tight 9/1 to 66/1 in one fell swoop.

Now 5th place is -5 and just 8 shots behind . I don’t normally go chasing money but I think the bookie has made a little boo boo here so I did splash out on a 20/80 – ½ point WIN 2 points at 80.

I know, I know, tell me later!

I said yesterday that Lee Westwood was either tired or in the mood, so had me a 20/80 at 1 point /4 points at 16`s and have left it at that. At -4 I am more than content

How about my two unheard of outsiders Billy Horschel at now 66/1 {-2} and David Lingmerth {Even Par} has a fighting chance but no reinvestment

Bye Bye Tim, sorry not your week and Webb Simpson just keep on fighting there boy, you could do something .

Now I left the best to last….

The Forgotten hero “The Goose”. Retief and Phil Mickelsen sit there at -1 just 5 shots away. Just one real classy shot in each round pretty much covers it, to be in touch. But why Retief is at 80/1 and Phil at 12/1 is beyond me

So we had a little 20/80 punt – 1 point WIN and 4 points @ 80/1

Said at the start of the week that I might regret leaving Phil and Brandt out, now Brandt is 11/2.

Watch out for the Elk today in the Allianz championship!
