What better way to spend 96p per day!
The 500 Club is, without a doubt, the most exciting new venture in horse racing. It will be strictly limited to just 500 people, hence the name of the club!
The cost of membership will be £350 but the benefits of membership are, to put it quite bluntly, outstanding. I cannot think of a better way in which you could possibly spend 96p per day but, that is for you to decide once you have read the text below.
I understand £350 is a lot of money to just pay all at once, especially at this time of year so, I've several options for you to consider, if you feel this is something you would like to get involved in.
Firstly though, what will you receive in return?
Post Racing is a not for profit enterprise and every penny invested by the 500 people will be used to provide those joining with the following.
- We will, together, raise £175,000 if we fill the membership and you will have 10% of that sum ring fenced for the four charities supported by Post Racing. Your good deed for the year accomplished!
- Every member will receive my ratings and advice, OF INTEREST selections and any other pieces of advice (ante-post selections etc), delivered to their inbox by 8-30am every morning.
- You will be helping me put in place employment for two young people with an iterest in racing journalism who have two things. An absolute passion for horse racing and, an ability to write about this sport in such a way as we are entertained and educated. The process of selecting these two guys or gals will be down to you. They will be invited to produce a 500 word piece that can be fiction or fact and you will judge who the overall winners are.
- Fantasy Horse Racing the best free to play horse racing game will have a state of the art website created. This will house one of the most complicated pieces of Oracle9 coding currently available. Inside the game will be a private league for the 500 people who come on board and the prizes on offer will be outstanding.
- It will be my intention to sponsor at least one race per season but hopefully more. At the same time, I will have organised a day out for all those members able to attend. At this meeting I hope to have a representative of each of the four charities there and a couple of you will present each of them with a rather large cheque....both in size and amount!
- Racehorse ownership. Post Racing has secured shares in three yearlings in training with David O'Meara. Details of those horses are below and once they go into full time training, members will be kept up to date on their progress.
- Post Racing is having an "app" developed through which members of the 500 Club will receive news of changes to information issued, in the event of non-runners, changes in the going, etc plus details of market movers on the Exchanges that look "informative". Any breaking news items will also be sent instantaneously to your phone.
- All of the above is dependent on the 500 places being fully subscribed by the end of October 2011. In the event of the membership not being filled, the most expensive benefits will be scaled back and others introduced but, for sure, they will still represent an outstanding opportunity for you, the member.
- ~As the season goes by more benefits will be added. Items of horse racing memoribilia purchased from Charity auctions will be awarded to members by way of prize draw raffles.
