Last year we found us a fox to pull a rabbit from the Royal Ascot hat and we will be confident of turning a profit this term, too....read on!

You have to take your hat off to Post Racing and the work we produce for members when it comes to the Festivals of racing.

The information produced is second to none, the leg work put in rewarded in spades and the monies raised through donations for that work increasing year on year.

That is because more and more people are recognising that they have weaponry added to their punting arsenal that is available nowhere else, in return for a donation that is spread between four of the most important horse racing related charities in the country.

Up until May 6th you can make a donation at the same rate I requested last season, £15.

From May 7th, I will be requesting a donation of  £20.

Please make your donation today if you want to be pulling rabbits from the toppers in June!

THE ROYAL ASCOT SPECIAL 2011

Thank you to those that made a donation in return for my Royal Ascot Special. We raised just over £1000 in less than a week and £600 of this has been equally divided between GREATWOOD, The BOB CHAMPION CANCER TRUST, The IJF and RACING WELFARE. The receipts for those donations are contained within the Charities page on the website.

In return for those donations members that got involved enjoyed punting winners such as

  • FOX HUNT (advised 16/1) - WON 12/1,
  • DEACON BLUES - WON 9/1,
  • MAYBE 5/2, NATHANIEL 11/4,
  • AWAIT THE DAWN - WON 4/6,
  • CANFORD CLIFFS - WON 11/8,
  • POWER  - WON 4/1,
  • BAPAK CHINTA - WON 6/1
  • FAME AND GLORY - WON 11/8
  • SAGRAMOR - WON 8/1
  • BROWN PANTHER - WON 4/1
  • plus a host of others at both Royal Ascot and the off meetings.

What you can look forward to....

To get a feel for the work I produce for Royal Ascot, this was taken from last Season's Special for 18/06/11. it is a mixture of the way I work...ratings plus, race profiling. My ratings take into consideration 11 criteria on a given day whilst race profiling goes deep into both a statistical analysis and my reading of how a race will be run and which horses will be best suited to that aspect of a race.

I took a lot of pleasure from the race below...and a lot of profit, too.

DUKE OF EDINBURGH STAKES

ILE DE REI....-5
TAQLEED....-10
FOX HUNT....-12
LIFE AND SOUL....-17
MODUN....-20
ROCK A DOODLE....-21

Only my top rated has ever won on the going they'll face this afternoon. For that reason alone he has to be a 20/80...plus the fact he's come out top opn my figures, of course! TAQLEED ran a cracker last year on good to soft, the yard struck form with a vengeance yesterday, he's out of a Ribblesdale winner so, the trip is more than interesting and he's long been considered a potential Group horse. He's my second 20/80. I'll be dutching that pair with FOX HUNT. Good to soft has not proved an issue for this Mark Johnston runner and the trip is just fine.

Top three dutch and exotics.

A look through my stats tells us that anything Mark Johnston saddles merits utmost respect....nice, given I've just popped FOX HUNT into my dutch. He also saddles JUTLAND, who won last weekend at Chester...did us all a right good turn in the process, too....but I'm thinking trip and ground look against him and, he's becoming a Chester specialist anyway.
Anything older than five might as well stay in it's box....only two horses aged 6+ have succeeded in the last 22 runnings of this race. Doesn't really help that much as the bulk of this field is the right age group.
Coming into this race with a win under your belt is another huge positive. Seven of the last 16 winners had done just that and, if your thinking weight might prove an issue, I'd be thinking twice as 11 of the last 14 winners carried over 9st....
FOX HUNT just winked at me!

Taking everything into account, ratings and stats, FOX HUNT is the bet and at the morning price of 16/1, it makes some kind of sense to consider another 20/80 but, I'll discuss that with my brain once this has gone out.
